Our Vision

Solving A Problem Every Company Faces
While earning my graduate degree at Yale, I co-founded Veritas Prep with my roommate. Our mission was to help students that were applying to the best universities in the US prepare for standardized entrance exams. We quickly noticed a striking pattern: the quality of the instructor played a huge role in how much a student’s score improved. But the best instructors were often concentrated in a few major cities like San Francisco and New York.
To level the playing field, we became one of the pioneers of live online learning, connecting students worldwide with top instructors regardless of their location. Whether you lived in Paris, Tokyo, or Austin, you could learn from the best. My roommate and I co-led Veritas Prep as co-CEOs for nearly two decades before the company was acquired.
Now, my focus has shifted from universities to corporations, inspired by a recurring frustration I kept hearing from executives:
We spend millions on leadership training, sales courses, and organizational change programs. We send our employees to high-quality workshops with amazing instructors. Yet within weeks, most of what they learn is forgotten — and even worse, rarely put into practice.
That’s the problem we’re solving with Dunbar148.
The Two Biggest Challenges in Corporate Training
Most corporate learning programs fail for two reasons:
- Employees forget most of what they learn within weeks.
- They rarely apply new knowledge to their daily work.
At Dunbar148, we’ve built a platform designed to solve both issues.
Reinforce Through Microlearning
The way we consume information today is fundamentally different than it was a decade ago. Few people have the time (or patience) for 20-minute training videos or lengthy webinars. But everyone finds small windows throughout their day to check Instagram, TikTok, or Facebook — while waiting in line, riding the elevator, or sipping their morning coffee.
That’s where we come in.
We deliver lessons as bite-sized, one-minute videos, designed to fit seamlessly into your daily routine. These microlessons don’t overwhelm employees with new information. Instead, they serve as quick, engaging reminders of what they’ve already learned, nudging them to apply those skills in real life.
Think about it: instead of scrolling social media during your next coffee break, imagine using that moment to get a quick refresher on a leadership or sales skill you’re honing.
Turn Theory Into Action
Of course, refreshing knowledge is only half the battle. To truly make a difference, employees need to put that knowledge into practice. That’s why every microlesson includes a challenge — a small, actionable step that encourages immediate application of what’s been learned.
For example, after a lesson on active listening, the challenge might be:
➡️ “Next time you’re in a conversation, wait three full seconds after the other person finishes speaking before you respond.”
These simple, actionable steps help employees build lasting habits over time, turning theory into real-world results.
Maintain Motivation
Even with the best intentions, the hardest part of learning is staying motivated long enough to see results. Research shows it takes an average of 66 days to form a new habit. So, how do we keep employees engaged for the long haul?
While many platforms lean heavily on gamification or AI, we believe the secret lies in something deeper: human connection.
Humans are wired to thrive in small, close-knit groups. That’s why Dunbar148 fosters learning circles — small teams of people working toward shared goals. These circles create space for employees to share their experiences, celebrate progress, and hold each other accountable.
Just like a fitness group makes it easier to stick to a workout routine, these learning circles make professional development more engaging and sustainable over time.
A Smarter Approach to Corporate Learning
Dunbar148 redefines corporate training by making it:
✅ Easy to consume – Bite-sized lessons fit naturally into daily routines.
✅ Actionable – Practical challenges encourage real-world application.
✅ Motivating – Learning circles foster accountability and long-term engagement.
It’s time to move beyond outdated, passive learning that fades away within weeks. Together, let’s create training that sticks — and more importantly, drives action.
